How we work

Small file fixes. Less fuss.
Promotcha is an independently operated collection of free photo, signature and PDF tools. Resize photos and signature images to chosen dimensions and KB limits, create a signature PNG, place a visible signature on a PDF, and organize documents without an account or a file-processing upload.
We show actual sizes, previews and limitations. We do not guarantee portal acceptance, perfect visual fidelity, identity-photo compliance or legal validity. A signature picture is not a digital certificate, DSC or Aadhaar eSign. Read quality limits and file privacy.
The file tools are intended to be supported by clearly labelled advertising on discovery and guide pages, not inside the file workspace. Live ads are not configured in this release. See our advertising promise. The older software guides remain in the software pricing archive, whose methodology follows below.
What the software archive is
The preserved archive is an index of 77 software products across automation, email marketing, hosting, e-commerce, SEO and AI media. For each one we describe what it is good at, what it gives up, and how its pricing is structured.
We also publish 35 head-to-head comparisons where the two products genuinely compete for the same job.
How we handle prices
Software pricing changes constantly and is usually tiered by usage. Rather than assert a single figure as fact, we do three things:
- We describe the shape of the pricing (“free plan, paid plans scale with sends”).
- We link every entry to the vendor's own pricing page so you can confirm the current number.
- The savings calculator runs entirely on numbers you enter. We pre-fill rough starting points and label them as such. We do not compute a saving from a price we invented.
What we do not claim
- We do not publish star ratings or review counts. We have not surveyed users, so we have no basis for either.
- We do not claim to have run load tests or benchmarks we did not run.
- We do not publish customer counts or “money saved” totals, because we would be making them up.
- We do not call a discount “verified” unless we hold the partner link that delivers it.
How we make money
Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, the vendor may pay us a commission. This costs you nothing extra and it does not change the trade-offs we describe — a bad alternative is still described as a bad alternative, whether or not it pays us. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
